We have been busy planning our 5th annual Lavender Festival here at Olfactory Farm. We have some new and exciting artisan vendors this year and have also been working on the 3rd Lavender Fun Run/Walk. A RC High School graduate will be receiving the $600.00 award we raised at last years run. The committee is so proud to be able to incorporate such a great event into the festival. We also have some new musical entertainment lined up and some great guest speakers. Our chef, Kevin McMaster will be serving up some great lavender dishes again this year. Dr. Les Moore, Director of Integrative Medicine at Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic, has agreed to speak at our festival this year. Dr. Moore is a Naturopathic Physician and author of Classical Formulas in the Western Herbal Tradition.
We will also be welcoming back Arleen Hodge, an herbalist from Henrietta NY. Arleen has studied under Rosemary Gladstar and will be speaking on the many uses of lavender.
